PRAYER FOR SOUTH AFRICA: DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE

  

 Dearest Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit

 Thank You that You are the only living God in the universe!!  I love You so much Lord and I never want to live without You. You are my King, my Bridegroom, my first and only Love!!

 1.    Today I want to pray for drug and alcohol abuse in South Africa.

2.    A staggering 1 out of every 5 adults in South Africa abuse alcohol or drugs in South Africa, and 60 percent of crimes committed in South Africa are substance abuse-related.

3.    Both drug and alcohol abuse leads to aggression, impaired judgment, no rational thinking, and physical or verbal abuse.

4.    Oh Lord, what a heartbreaking result we see in our beautiful country!

5.    What an impact it does not have on spouses and children living in those conditions!

6.    Father, I come to plead with You to save alcohol and drug abusers.

7.    Please show them that they are wrong and that they are chasing every person away from them.

8.    Lord, open their eyes so that they will see that they are not only causing severe harm to themselves but also to their families and the country around them.

9.    Oh Lord, have mercy on every drug and alcohol abuser.

10.  Shake them until they wake up and realize what they are doing!

11.  Do not be a Gentleman, but pluck these abusers out of their destructive ways into serving You.

12.  Break the alcohol and drug abuse demonic hold on every person in South Africa in the Name of Jesus!

13.  Oh Holy Spirit, move over South Africa and touch the hearts, minds, and souls of these abusers so that they will turn to You.

14.  Show them the consequences of their abuse Lord!

15.  Oh Lord, open their minds, that are impaired by drugs and alcohol, to see You and choose You!

16.  Lord, substance abuse is destroying so many relationships in South Africa.

17.  And broken relationships lead to bitterness and hatred.

18.  Oh Lord, please step in and cleanse South Africa of the substance abuse devil that wants to kill and destroy.

19.  I plead with You in labor to have mercy on the abuser’s souls, and turn them around for You!

20.  I pray that You will protect the families of substance abusers and keep them safe at all times.

21.  And heal their broken hearts, souls, and minds Lord.

22.  Lord, if You can touch substance abusers and turn them around, what a great miracle in South Africa!

23.  Our crime will fall and more families will stay together and pray together.

24.  Please Lord, hear our cries for our adults, and young people that are abusers.

25.  Do not let the devil steal from us Lord, but turn their hearts around for You!

26.  Do miracles as we pray to pluck them out of their comfort zones and show them that You are alive and calling them by their names!!

27.  Blow over South Africa Lord and pluck them out of their abuse right into Your body of Christ.

I ask this in the mighty and powerful Name, blood, and cross of Jesus!  Amen
