PRAYER FOR SOUTH AFRICA: PSALM 121

Dearest Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit

Thank You for being the great God You are. Thank You for moving mountains to help Your people.  You are the most wonderful God and I love You very, very, very much!

1.    I want to pray for the special votes first today.

2.    Please help the special votes to flow well, and for everyone to finish in time.

3.    Be with South Africa this day before the election please Father.

4.    Oh Lord, let Your peace flow through South Africa, filling each of us and keeping us calm and relaxed.

5.    Please break every bad spirit that is not from You, and that wants to destroy this election and its outcome, in the Name of Jesus.

6. We speak Jesus, only Jesus, over South Africa.

7.    We want to declare Psalm 121 over South Africa and all its people.

We lift up our eyes to the mountains—
    where does South Africa’s help come from?
South Africa’s help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let South Africa’s foot slip—
    He who watches over us will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over South Africa
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you, South Africa—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm South Africa by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep South Africa from all harm—
    He will watch over every life in South Africa;
the Lord will watch over South Africa’s coming and going
    both now and forevermore.
