Dearest Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit
Thank You for Your amazing grace and patience with me. Thank You that You are the only living God in the whole universe! I love You very much!
1. I want to pray for relationships between couples. What a disaster this has become Lord!
2.
People no longer commit to marriage, and if they do, they divorce within 5 years!
3.
Children are torn between parents fighting each other through their children.
4.
And children learn that it is ok
to divorce. This becomes their normal!
5.
The devil is laughing all the
way because he is sowing hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness between the couple and the children.
6.
Oh Lord, have mercy on the relationships of couples.
7.
I pray that You will work in
the heart of every South African so that we will commit to a relationship and
see it through.
8.
I pray that You will give each
one of us Your love for each other.
9. 1 Peter 4: 8 says: Above all, love each other deeply because love
covers over a multitude of sins.
10. I pray that You will help each couple in South Africa to commit to
You, read the Bible, and pray together every day.
11. Please help couples to be humble, listen to each other and not jump
to conclusions.
12. Help every couple to take a break from technology (television,
cellphones, games), because technology is stealing time from all of us – as well
as our children.
13. And technology is motivating adultery (egbreuk), which You wrote
with Your own finger we are not allowed to do. (Exodus 20:14)
14. Please teach us to have patience with one another as You have
patience with us.
15. Please help couples not to drink excessively, because this not only
ruins the relationship but also the children.
16. Ephesians 5:18 says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled
with the Spirit.” This
means don't get drunk where your drunkenness gets you to the point where you

17. Help
us to seek guidance from You and Your Word Lord, because therein lies the
truth.
18. Place in every relationship love, patience, acceptance of each other and each other’s faults, and Your affection towards each other.
19. I do understand that there are relationships that are toxic and dangerous and that one partner sometimes has to make a difficult choice for everyone to
be safe. You also understand that my
King. Please help these people through everything.
20. Please help every couple to forgive each other, because bitterness
and hatred are the killer of most marriages.
21. Help us to place the mistakes of the past under Your blood and never
think of them again.
22. Help us to focus on the good things in our partner at all times.
23. Remind us Lord that the marriage is sacred in Your eyes.
24. Ecclesiastes (Prediker) 4:9 says Two are
better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of
them falls down, one can help the other up…
25. Close our eyes and heart to any third parties or sins that want to
destroy our marriage.
I ask everything in the Name of the Father,
Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Amen
