PRAYER FOR SOUTH AFRICA: ELECTIONS 2024

 

 

Dearest Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit

Thank You for a great night’s sleep and that You watched over us.  You are the most precious God and I never want to live without You. Thank You for Your amazing grace and love!

 This morning I want to pray for the elections on 29.05.2024.

 1.    Lord, there is so much at stake for this coming election - our country and all its people.

2.    Our country is on its knees Lord, and we need Your help!

3.    I pray that You will send confusion in the current government and the decisions they want to make.

4.    Please let Your enemies in the current government stand up against each other.

5.    Let them be scattered in their thinking so that they cannot make decisions that are not from You.

6.    I bind any mind spirits and forefather thinking and ruling in the Name of Jesus.

7.    I bind their minds, in the Name of Jesus, to only do things that are from You.

8.    Lord, our government is making decisions that are totally against Your Word.

9.    Please do not allow this anymore my King!

10.  I know You are a gentle God and have a lot of mercy.

11.  But do not have mercy on those in the current government that is not from You.

12.  Do not spare the current government and ministers if they are going directly against Your will, jeopardizing Your children.

13.  Stop them right in their tracks.

14.  Give them so many distractions that they cannot make decisions or laws that will affect Your people here in South Africa.

15.  We want to serve You and we want a government and country that is serving You.

16.  We want a government that can make decisions based on Your Word and Your leadership.

17.  We want You to be our President and King first and then be followed by the government.

18.  I pray for peace in this election.

19.  I pray that people will go in their millions to cast their votes.

20.  Please Lord, wake up the people that do not want to vote.

21.  Show them that they have a responsibility to vote for themselves, their children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

22.  And if they don’t know for whom to vote – let them draw a cross (X) over their ballot papers so that their vote at least also does not count for the current government.

23.  I pray that people of all parties will not kill each other Lord.

24.  Please protect Your children who are candidates for this election.

25.  Give us a party and leader that cares for all their citizens, does not steal the wealth of our country for personal gain, and wants peace and guidance from You Holy Spirit.

26.  But most of all:  give us a party and leader that serve You in honesty and truth!

27.  Please help that this election will be fair and honest.

28.  I bind the mind of every person in South Africa to only listen to Your voice when they vote in this election.

29.  Let us do what is right in Your eyes and choose wisely.

I ask everything in the Name of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
