Dearest Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit
Thank You for the lovely rain that You provided and that You care for every person here on earth! Thank You that You are such a patient and forgiving God!
1. On 8 May 2019 we have an election.
2. This is one of the most important elections in South African history, but people do not want to vote.
3. And if they do not vote, their vote counts for the current government, that stands for corruption, load shedding, crime and lies.
4. Please touch the heart of every South African so that we will realize that we all have a responsibility, for our country and our children, to make our vote count.
5. Only You can change the minds of people so that they will vote and make a difference.
6. I pray that there will be no killing of political candidates throughout South Africa.
7. I pray that You will bring Your Christian candidates through in this election, so that they will stand for what is fair, what is good and honorable for the whole of South Africa.
8. I pray that You will lift corrupt candidates from their seats and replace them with hardworking, honest people that just want to build South Africa up again.
9. Please Lord, help all of us not to be afraid of casting our votes for the right party, but to think about our children and grandchildren’s future in South Africa.
10. I pray that You will guard each ballot and ballot box so that no fraud could happen there.
11. I pray for a fair, just and very peaceful election.
12. Please open the eyes of people so that they would see through the lies of the candidates that is not honest and that they would reject those candidates.
13. I pray that You will touch the heart of every person voting this year, so that we will vote for the party of Your choice.
14. I bind every mind in South Africa to listen to Your voice and to do what is right in Your eyes.
15. I beg of You that employers will be lenient towards their employees and allow them to vote.
16. I pray that there will be no fighting at the poles, but a good hearted, caring feeling for each other
.
17. Lord, please remove the blinkers (oogklappe) from the eyes of every South African, so that we will not be fooled by any political candidate anymore, but that we will make wise decisions based on our knowledge and what You want us to do.
18. I pray that You will reshuffle candidates, so that the bad ones will somehow just vanish from politics and the good people, that want to build up South Africa for the whole rainbow nation, would rise and take over.
19. I pray that You will help political candidates not to fight with each other, but rather work together in peace.
20. I break every power and authority throughout South Africa that is not from You in the Name of Jesus and replace it with Your power, authority and fruit of the Spirit.
21. I give You the Ownership of the elections on 8 May 2019 in South Africa and every person in this country.
22. You know what all of us need in South Africa to start to build up our beautiful land.
23. Let Your will be done at all times!
24. Please do not forget about Your children in South Africa, but help each one of us to grow nearer and nearer to You.
25. Thank You Lord that You are sending legion angels to guard over every South African on election day.
26. Thank You that You are rendering the crooks helpless on that day so that they won’t attack and steal other people’s property.
27. Thank You that You will be in charge of every poll station and every person coming to vote and that Your peace will be felt prominently on that day.
28. Thank You that You are bringing the corrupt people’s deeds to the light and holding them accountable for that.
29. Thank You Lord that we can rest assured that You are in control – no matter what the outcome.
30. Thank You that You care about South Africa, the future of this beautiful country and its rainbow nation.
31. Thank You that Your peace will be with us on election day and that we will all have a great day, showing that we care for each individual in South Africa.
I ask everything in the mighty Name, blood and Cross of Jesus and I just want to say that I love You very much!
