Prayer for me, my children and generations to come 2024.12.28
2024.12.28
Dearest Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit
Thank You for a great night’s sleep and for watching over me. You are the
greatest and only living God in the universe, and I love You very, very, very
much. I never ever want to live without
You, my King, Master, and Bridegroom.
This morning I want to pray for my
children, their children, and generations to come:
I Oh Lord, please pull them closer and closer to You so that they will
choose to serve You
I Open Your heart for each one of them so that they will get to know
You the same way I did
I Oh Lord, please reveal Yourself to each one of them in such a way
that they will know that You are a living God, living inside of them
I Please fill each one of my (Your) children with Your Holy Spirit so
that they will know You are living inside of them, that You are real and not
just a plaything they can throw away when they want to.
I Please pull them so close to You that they will feel Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that they will want that peace at all
times.
I Clean their hearts, spirits, minds, bodies, souls, and beings of things
that do not belong there.
I Clean them out Lord and fill them with Your Spirit
I I pray that all the men will make a decision not to drink – but to rather
drink cold drinks and serve You rather than temping You and tempting their families
I Oh Lord, please let the men in this family decide not to
drink but rather serve You and show their families who You are through their
example.
I My Daddy, please touch every manly person in my (Your) family and
heal them from the desire to drink – to fall for the alcohol devil.
I Please touch every man in my (Your) family so that they realize they are the priests of the house, and that they want to set the example for their families of how to serve You!
I Please follow every member of this family and generations to come,
to serve You wholeheartedly and never turn away from You.
I Please Lord, never let anyone of my (Your) family and generations to
come stray from Your road, but fix their hearts on You and how they must serve
You.
I Tie them with ropes of love to You so that they will love You the
minute they are born
I Break every curse that was spoken over any one of us in the Name of
Jesus and just fill us with Your love and understanding
I Break every forefather spirit that has gone through the ages and
maybe slipped through in the Name of Jesus
I Break every spirit of untruth in the Name of Jesus and fill each one
of us with Your truth, Your light, Your Spirit
I Break every chain that we, or others, have placed upon us, in the
Name of Jesus.
I Oh Lord my God, have mercy on my (Your) family and lead us to be
Your followers in every way that is possible, please.
I Help us to run to You when we have problems and to hear from You
what the solutions is
I Let us listen to Your advice and not follow worldly
standards!
I Make us strong in You so that we know where we have to run to when
things are tough
I Let us realize that You are the only solution at all times and that
we have to love You with everything in us
I Oh Lord, please do not let our children, grandchildren, and upcoming generations run away from You, but love You, respect
You, and crave Your love and understanding.
I Please touch our hearts, minds, bodies, spirits, and beings so that
we will want to serve You and serve You in truth.
I Please do not let us go astray Lord, but keep us on Your narrow road
I Help us to never turn our backs on You, but to serve You with power, love, passion, and dedication
I Teach us to read Your Word, one scripture at a time, and to listen to Your Spirit opening up that
scripture in our hearts.
I Oh Lord, help us to be Your light here on earth, that Your light
will shine through us to a hungry world.
I Help us to be willing to spread Your Word here on earth
I Help us all to cling to You with everything in us so that we can see
You one day when we leave this world
I Protect us from evil, from wrong decisions
I Help us to make the right choices
I Please do not give us options but let our only option always be to
serve You, to listen to You, to follow the path You have laid out for us
I Oh my King, let me, my children, my grandchildren, and generations to
come serve You with everything in us!
I Let us choose You whenever we come to a big decision we have to make
I Help us to think about what Jesus would do and take that option –
at all times
I Please don’t give any of us a free choice, but be the choice we make
I Oh my Bridegroom, please hold every person in my (Your) family, very
close to Your heart and help us to see You in Your full splendor
I Be with them and surround them with You in such a way that they
never want to be without Your Spirit surrounding them
I Oh please, I beg in labor, let me, my (Your) children, my (Your)
grandchildren, and generations to come, serve You with their whole mind, heart,
soul, body, and being.
I Let them give over to You at a young age and serve You wholeheartedly!
I Lord, I pick myself, all my children and their spouses, all my
grandchildren and generations to come up in my arms, I walk into Your throne room
and put all of us on Your lap.
I Please rule us with Your love, Your patience, Your peace that
surpasses all understanding
I Never let us slip away from You, but always draw us nearer to You
I Teach us Your Ways Lord and help us to never part from You, but to
be Your light here on earth, letting our lives be a beacon for others who want
to serve You.
I I want to say for myself, my (Your) children, my (Your)
grandchildren, and generations to come: we love You and want to serve You with
everything in us. Please show us Your
way and use us as instruments in Your hands!

David and Goliath CHILDREN STORY
“Who is screaming like that?’ asks David, walking towards his brothers.
“What do you know man? Why are you not
tending to the sheep?” asks one of David’s brothers.
David walks to other people standing
nearby. “Who is screaming like that?” he
asks.
“It is the giant Goliath. He wants one of us to fight him. But how can we do that? He is so huge.
“I will fight him,” says David.
“Ha-ha-ha” the people around David laughs. “Such a young man, and he has the guts to
fight a giant! Ha-ha-ha!”
David turns to Saul. “When a lion grabs one
of my sheep, I follow it, kill it, and save my sheep from its mouth. I have
killed lions and bears. Goliath will be like one of them because he is mocking
the army of the living God. The Lord, who saved me from the claws of lions and
bears, will save me from the hand of this giant.”
Will you go and fight Goliath, my friend?
“Go,” says Saul. May the Lord be with you.”
They try to fit Saul’s clothing to David,
but David cannot move in them.
David takes it off and takes his staff in his hand. He chooses 5 round and smooth pebbles from
the stream and puts them in the bag hanging around his body.
“Lord, You are with me. You are the only One who can help me
now. Please help me to overcome this
giant that is mocking Your army. Give me
the courage and strength Lord.”
He
moves towards the giant with his slingshot in his hand.
“Am I a dog that you come to me with
sticks?” screams Goliath cursing David.
David looks up, up, up, and up to the giant.
For a minute he gulps and his eyes widen as he looks at the length of the
giant. It feels like he wants to turn
around and run away. Then he hears Goliath cursing him and his God. This gives David new courage.
“You come against me with a sword and
spear, but I come against you in the Name of the Lord God Almighty. The Lord is
going to deliver you into my hands this day, and I will kill you. The Lord is
going to deliver you all into our hands.
“Ho-ho-ho-ho” laughs the giant and begins to
move closer to David.
“Lord, You are in control,” cries David, running toward the giant.
David stops, puts his hand into his bag, and
takes a smooth pebble.
He puts it in his slingshot.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh he swings the slingshot
above his head and lets go of it.
The pebble moves higher and higher and
higher.
Kabam!
It hits Goliath right on his forehead and the pebble sinks right into
his forehead.
Kadoef!, Goliath falls to the ground – dead
as a doornail.
“Yippee! David has won!! The giant is dead!",’ shout the soldiers. The Lord helped David to kill the giant! Hip-hip hooray!”
Remember friend: Jesus will always help you
when you are scared and feel alone. He
is your only and best Friend in the whole world!

David en Goliat KINDERVERHAAL
“Wie skreeu so?’ vra Dawid toe hy aangestap
kom na sy broers toe.
“Ag wat weet jy man? Hoekom pas jy nie die
skape op nie?” vra een van Dawid se broers.
Dawid stap na ander mense toe. “Wie skreeu so?” vra hy vir hulle.
“Dit is die reus Goliat. Hy wil hê een van ons moet teen hom gaan
baklei. Maar hoe kan ons? Hy is so groot.
“Ek sal teen hom gaan baklei”, sê Dawid vir
Saul.
“Ha-ha-ha” lag al die mense om Dawid. “So jong man en hy sien kans om teen n reus
te gaan baklei. Ha-ha-ha!”
Dawid draai na Saul toe. “Wanneer ‘n leeu
Die Here, wat my gered
reus.”
Sal jy teen Goliat gaan baklei maatjie?
“Gaan, sê Saulus. Mag die Here by jou
wees.”
“Here, U is met my. U is al Een wat my nou
Die Here gaan jou op hierdie dag in my hande
oorgee en ek sal jou doodmaak. Die Here gaan julle almal in ons hande oorgee.
“Ho-ho-ho-ho,” lag die reus en begin nader
aan Dawid beweeg.
“Here, U is in beheer,” roep Dawid en
hardloop na die reus toe.
Hy stop, steek sy hand in sy sak en neem n
gladde klippie.
neer.
“Jippie!’ skreeu die soldate. “Dawid het
gewen!!
Hiep-hiep hoera!”
Onthou maatjie: Jesus sal jou altyd help
wanneer jy bang en alleen voel. Hy is
