How to moan to feel better

 We all moan – in front of others, about circumstances that are not so great, etc.

But... I want to tell you how to moan to get things out of your subconscious mind and into the light.

Why may you ask do you have to moan?

To feel better!  To work through things that has build up in your steam cooker subconscious mind and are having an effect on your conscious mind.  To bring things, that are taking control of you, into the light and be set free of them!

When we are stressed or emotionally challenged, we normally use our right brain more – the emotional brain.  The left logical brain does not work that much.  So... when something happens to us, we tend to rather react emotionally than logically.  When you moan in the way I describe below, you will start to get more balance in both brain lobes and start to think more logically.


 

GUIDELINES ON MOANING

TO WHOM MUST I MOAN?

You can choose to moan before God or some other person.  This helps to keep you focussed as if you are telling someone about your problems.  (Just a human factor) If you don’t want to moan to any person, no problem!

 

WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN.

I know some of us do not like to write, but it is essential to write everything down so that you can get balance in both brain lobes.  Talking will not have the same effect!  So please, for your own health and well-being, start to write.  It is really not that bad! You want to feel better, so why not help yourself in this way?

ONLY WRITE SHORT BULLETED SENTENCES  

Why you may ask?  If you write a letter to someone - and this is not wrong – you only get out the feelings and emotions about that one person.  But if you start to write short bulleted sentences, you get more feelings and emotions out.  There is so much we worry about – some things conscious and some things unconscious.  We have to get everything out – both subconscious and conscious.  This is why short bulleted sentences are the way to go.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO MOAN?  

You can use a writing pad, a book, a pen or a computer if you have one.  Just make sure, for your own peace of mind, that you can hide all the writing safely from prying eyes.  Sometimes you “feel” something bad about a person, but it is not really the way you feel about them in reality.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I NEED?

6  It would be lovely if you can set aside about two to three hours the first time.  Remember:  you have a lot of things bubbled up inside you, and all of these need to get out. When your brain realizes there is a release button, it wants to get everything out.  And this is wonderful because you are letting down steam in your body and mind.  So please give your body and mind ample time to moan the first time. 

6  If you really have a tight time schedule, even half an hour of moaning could be better than nothing.  But then you have to do it more regularly – like for instance every day until you feel much better.  Please set an alarm or reminder so that you do not forget about this!!!

6   It would be wonderful if you can write UNTIL YOU CANNOT EVEN MOVE YOUR HANDS.  Or until you can feel that a mountain has fallen off your shoulders!!!!. 

 

 HOW TO MOAN

Just start to write short bulleted sentences about EVERYTHING THAT POPS UP IN YOUR MIND!!!  There is no right or wrong way of doing this.  Just write down everything that comes to mind.  But... the golden rule:  just bulleted sentences.  Even if you are mad at your spouse, mom or dad, do not write them a letter at this stage.  You can do it at another time when you feel like it – no problem.  But now you are focusing on getting everything out of your subconscious mind.  David, in the Bible, also used very short sentences in Psalms!

EXAMPLE:

Remember, I always moan before God because He is my safe haven and my Friend.  I think it is good to moan before “someone” because that gives a feeling of “talking” to someone – and we are social beings!

So here is an example of how to moan: 

Father, I just want to come and sit at Your feet this morning to moan.  Please just listen to me and hold me very close to Your heart.”

L  I am tired, tired, tired!!!!!

L  My finances are not working

L  This year is just too long for me!!!!

L  My dog is ill!

L  It does not rain!

L  I am not feeling well Lord

L  I am so (*&&^$* angry with my mother (father, partner, daughter, son, collegue at work)

L  I feel so lonely today

L  Please do not forget about me

L  Our country is going down the drain!

L  My car is acting up and I do not have money to pay to get it fixed

L  The neighbors dog is driving me nuts with its barking

L  I feel so rejected by my boss

L  I am so ill!

L  I cannot focus on that project I have to do

L  I cannot cope with my job, house, kids, and chores!!!!

L  Etc., etc.

HOW REGULAR CAN I MOAN?

As much as you like!  In the beginning, I would suggest that you moan every day or every second day.  This is just to get things out of your mind. Then you can moan once a week or once a month, depending on how the pressure builds up inside you. Near the end of the year, about September, October, we tend to get overworked and stressed out a lot.  This is a great time to moan at least once a week – just to get freedom from the clutter in the subconscious mind!!!!

 

WHEN TO MOAN? 

When it feels like you are going to explode at any minute – like a pressure cooker!  Any time, anywhere is fine!!!  Sometimes your partner is giving you a hard time.  If you have time, just go and moan in short bulleted sentences!  It helps blow off steam and to get to the logical part of your brain instead of the emotional part of your brain!

WHAT CAN I MOAN ABOUT?

Anything, everything!!!!  At first, you just have to focus on getting everything that bothers you out of your subconscious mind.   Later  you can just moan for 30 minutes about a fight you and your husband, kids, or co-worker had.  Just doing this can help your brain get more logical and the emotions to settle down a little bit!

WHERE CAN I MOAN?

@  If you cannot find the appropriate time at home, try a restaurant where you have time on your hands.

@   You may also prefer to get up earlier in the morning and do it when everyone’s asleep.

@  These days we all have smartphones.  There is nothing wrong to moan on your smartphone while waiting for a doctor’s appointment!!!

@  If you have a lunch hour at work and you will not be bothered, you can even do it at that time.  Just make sure to delete the file or add a security code so that the whole office does not know your secrets or frustrations.  Remember:  sometimes things may “feel” bad, but once you have moaned you realize you were just overreacting a little bit.  But... if someone gets your moan notes on that subject, it might get out of hand.  So... be careful.


 

You now have one of the best tools in your hand.  If you don’t use it, you’re going to lose out on one of the best things you could ever do for yourself and those around you.  I challenge you to give it a go and prove me wrong!!!  Let me know how this has turned out for you!
